Hello again!

It’s me, Cheryl! I am a Chicago based product designer with a background in designing human centered reproductive and sexual healthcare services.

I discovered human centered design while working at Chicago Women’s Health Center-a collectively run non-profit feminist health center.  As a truly client centered organization, we were always striving to provide exemplary care to our clients.  We often utilized design thinking methodologies-such as empathy mapping, collecting client feedback and piloting programs- to ensure we were embodying our mission to provide compassionate, collaborative and accessible care.

As I learned more about UX, and through that, service design, I found it matched my natural inclinations to problem solve, collaborate and create experiences that allowed people to feel seen and cared for. I am eager to apply my newly minted digital design skills with a compassionate, affirming, inclusive approach to create impactful and intuitive user experiences.

When I am not designing you might find me rowing on the Chicago River or playing with clay in the ceramic studio.
